- Mix all the masala ingredients into a paste. Check for salt.
- Apply the masala paste on to the sardines, making sure that it is coated well, in between the slits, etc. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Shallow fry in oil. putting curry leaves in the oil while frying gives a little twist to the aroma and taste.
