Salt scrubs tend to be a bit more abrasive on the skin so if you're super sensitive, I would stick to a sugar scrub, however if you're looking for something a bit more intense, salt scrubs are the way to go. I'd also recommend only using a sugar scrub on the face and not using a salt scrub due to the size of the granules and the sensitive.

The ingredients needed to make Table Salt Scrub:
  1. Prepare 1 as needed Table salt
  2. Take 1/2 cup Coconut milk (thick)

These are all basically the same treatment, although the texture and scent of the scrub can be different. You can use sea salt as an exfoliant. Don't try this with table salt – you need the coarser granules of sea salt for this recipe. Apple cider vinegar acts as an astringent.

Instructions to make Table Salt Scrub:
  1. Boil the coconut milk in low flame till a layer of oil is formed on top of the boiling milk
  2. Scoop out the oil layer from top and transfer it to another container. Preferably into the container u r going to mix the rest of the ingredients n take it to the shower.
  3. Once u collect as much oil from the boiling coconut milk, turn off the flame.
  4. Instead of extracting coconut oil from coconut milk, u can also use regular coconut oil available in the market.. But the freshly extracted oil soothes the skin better than any other moisturizer. # personal experience :)
  5. Mix together the salt n herbs.. Table salt is preferred as the fine grains scrub out dead skin without being rough of the skin and can be used by any skin types.. It also improves circulation
  6. This is perfect for a single use as storing it may turn the oil rancid.
  7. Once massaged on to your body it's best when washed off with warm water alone. But if you are Ina hurry m needs to prevent Staining of clothes, wash it off with a mild herbal soap for long lasting soft skin.

Salt scrubs can be made using good old table salt but the coarser the salt the more exfoliation you can achieve. These can be made with Sea salts my favorite is Sea Salt. If you are looking for Sea Salts then Himalayan Sea Salts are great I love using them for their color too. When using this salt scrub, I like to use long, gentle strokes moving in the direction of the heart to help stimulate the lymphatic system. I recommend using a fine sea salt.
